The Third Chinese Queer Theology Workshop Webinar

Queer Theology Academy will be holding its 3rd Chinese Queer Theology Workshop Webinar, targeting Chinese around the world from June 10 to July 10, 2022!

Queer Theology Academy is a pioneer in organizing queer theology workshops in Asia. Two previous workshops in 2014 and 2019 were a huge success.

This summer, we have invited 13 theologians, professors, teachers, and pastors from Asia, North America, and Europe. The teaching team includes Dr. Rose Wu, Rev. Dr. Boon Lin Ngeo (O.yang), Rev. Charing Wei-Jen Chen, Dr. Connie Au, Teresa Lai-San Yip, Eros Shaw, Chen Yin-An, Rev. Dr. Patrick Cheng, Dr. Kwok Pui Lan, Hannah Wen-shan Chen, Dr. Joseph N. Goh, Wesley Cheng, and Peng Yin. The course outline showcases topics such as Feminism, Post-colonial, Queer and Indecent Theology, Queer Bible Hermeneutics, History of LGBTQIA+ Rights across different Christian Denominations, Queer Movement, Sexual Ethics, etc. Tutorials and thematic workshops will be facilitated by global queer pastors and theologically-trained teaching assistants.

The whole workshop will be taught online. The aim of this workshop is to enhance the skills of LGBTIQ Christian leaders in advancing their ministries with theological training and provide resources to advocate equal treatment of LGBTIQ people.

With a limit of 50 participants, we invite the global LGBTIQ+ Chinese Christians to register now!
