ABOUT US
WHO ARE WE?
Queer Theology Academy (QTA) was founded in 2009 by a group of theology students and ministerial leaders. Dr. Rose Wu is the honorary consultant.
MISSION STATEMENT
The mission is to develop and practice queer theology and gender justice in the context of Hong Kong. We aim to promote justice and equal rights for people with different sexual orientations through publishing and education. We work in partnership with sexual minority groups to provide them with appropriate pastoral counseling and spiritual formation.
OUR WORK
We strive to protect the rights of sexual minorities in Hong Kong, and we believe that they should be treated with equality and dignity. In humility, we walk in solidarity with sexual minorities; as faith community we have the responsibility to care and comfort them. We set up QTA to practice Christ's inclusivity.
